Julianne Hough Covers Prestige Hong Kong December 2011

Winner of the Dancing with the Stars TV series in both 2006 and 2007, Julianne Hough hasradically diversified her repertoire and talents. Since then, she has released a self-titled country-music album, with a second – Wildfire – due for release in 2012. She’s also moved into movies, with roles in Burlesque and the remake of Footloose, as well as the upcoming Rock of Ages starring Tom Cruise and Mary J Blige.

In an exclusive interview with Prestige Hong Kong, accompanied by a dazzling photographic portfolio by Mark Liddell, Hough talks about her move from American suburbia to London at an early age, her love for the original Footloose, and working with the likes of Cruise.

“Tom Cruise is the hardest-working person,” says the glamorous, Utah-born dance sensation. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen anybody commit to something the way that he does…No action hero was present during the filming of [Rock of Ages] – he was legitimately a rock star.” As for her own remarkable career, the 23-year-old Hough says, “It’s so crazy. I feel like I’ve lived five different lives in my short life.”
