Demi Lovato Gives An Amazing Performance At The People’s Choice Awards, + See The Winners In Full

It was definitely Demi Lovato‘s night yesterday evening as she performed at the People’s Choice Awards 2012. The past two years have been a struggle for the singer who had checked herself into rehab several times due to depression, an eating disorder and emotional distress. However, after committing herself to get better with the support of best-friends, Kim Kardashian and Selena Gomez, the singer managed to get through it and come back bigger than ever. Unbroken, is the third studio album of Lovato to hit the top 10 Billboard Charts followed by several hits including Skyscraper and her just-released, Give Your Heart A Break which she performed yesterday.

Back to the Awards. Although she’s trying to sort out her divorce, Mrs. Katy Brand Perry took an unexpected five People’s Choice Awards. We’re so happy that at least some kind of happiness was able to come out of these past two weeks, she tweeted to her 14M followers:

THANK U to every1 who voted for me for the @peopleschoicetonight! We won so many! Now I need to get more books 2 successfully display them!
