‘We’ll Be Connected Forever’: Seal Admits He Still Wears His Wedding Ring On The Ellen Show (VIDEO)

Last week, Heidi Klum had filed to divorce husband of seven years, Seal, after it was claimed in reports that the model wasn’t happy in the marriage any more. Seal was believed to be enjoying too many late night outs without Heidi and was even considered to be cheating on her at one point which totally upset her, leaving her no choice then to end the marriage without hesitation.

The singer made an appearance on the Ellen show this past week and he publicly admitted that ‘it was a shock for both’ of them too – stating he was surprised – but continues to praise Klum for giving birth to four children of his and for being an amazing wife.

Speaking about wearing his wedding ring: “Yes, I am still wearing my ring. I think it’s just pretty much a token of how I feel about this woman. Just because we have decided to separate doesn’t necessarily mean you take off your ring and you’re no longer connected to that person. We will be connected in many ways ’til the rest of our lives.”

Speaking on marriage: “You go into these things with the greatest of intentions,” he explained. “When you say ‘I do’ and ‘Til’ death do us part’, those vows hold value. They’re not just words. But these things happen.”

No word if the couple are still staying in the same house together. Seal has been doing his promotional work for his new and upcoming album in Europe where he did a performance on the Jonathan Ross Show and in the States where he’s currently doing the same. It’s so sad that the divorce had to clash with his current interviews to promote the album – this will give him no chance to try and save the marriage which we all though would last forever. Celebrities really do have us fooled at times, don’t you think?
