Our thoughts are with Amanda Sudano Ramirez, the youngest daughter of Disco Queen Donna Summer. Summer passed away yesterday after a long battle with lung cancer. Amanda’s father is Bruce Sudano, Summer’s second husband and her sister is Brooklyn Sudano. Amanda has a half sister named Mimi Sommer, who is Donna’s daughter from her first marriage to Helmut Sommer.
All of Summer’s daughters are beautiful but Amanda surely has a strikingly similar resemblance to her late mother.
Amanda was featured in her father’s music video called “It’s Her Wedding” but is most known for her modeling. The 30-year-old (bron on August 11, 1982) was signed to Bella Agency in New York and was seen in the Louis Vuitton 2010 Summer/Spring campaign.
In addition to showing off her long legs and beautiful face in various ad campaigns she created her own band in 2005 called Jonnhyswim with her husband Abner Ramirez whom she married in 2009 in Florida.
We will be thinking of Amanda and her family during this difficult time. Sure Donna is gone physically but her memory and her music will live on forever in the hearts of many.
