Nicki Minaj is taking on the beauty industry with a fragrance all her own. On August 21st, 2012 Minaj tweeted a photo of her new perfume called “Pink Friday” and not so surprising the bottle is colorful and as strange as only Nicki can be.
Back in April Minaj announced that she was going to launch her own scene and explained back in April that, “This is yet another extension of my creative expression. I designed the scent and bottle with my Barbz in mind.”
Via her Twitter, Nicki shared, “I was determined to have my signature pink bob.”
After Nicki shared the photo of her perfume bottle, she revealed other details in response to fan questions. She did reveal that the perfume will be available for purchase in stores at the end of September and eventually she will be releasing “dope box sets” that will include both bath soaps and creams.
As for what the perfume smells like? If you can imagine what “angels playing” smells like, then you get an idea. And guys, you don’t have to feel left out. “My boys will like it. Trust me!”, she added via her Twitter.
