Donald Trump’s appearance on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” on Monday with his entire Trump clan may have inadvertently helped settle the ongoing war of words between him and Rosie O’Donnell.
A Rosie O’Donnell fan posted a question on her blog asking, “Rosie, did you see Oprah today with the Trump family.” Rosie replied “i did, and found him likable”
The Rosie-Trump feud began in 2006 when she called The Donald a “snake-oil salesman” while she was co-hosting “The View” because he announced that he would not fire Miss USA, Tara Conner.
The feud continued in the media for years, but nothing negative has appeared in recent months. This could be simple politicking on Rosies part since she is slated to get her own show on Oprah’s OWN network and wants to avoid controversy now.
In April 2010, Rosie admitted “I’ve never spoken to the man in my life,” she said at the time. “I don’t know the guy. I don’t hang out in the circle of Donald Trump. It’s not like I see him at Sizzler, at the mall, on the weekend.”
That’s right – all that Rosie and Donald have in common is being rich and opinionated.
